We are very excited to announce our new Day Trekker IPA and partnership with the Western New York Mountain Biking Association. As part of the partnership, 42 North will donate a portion of sales of the Day Trekker IPA to WNYMBA and help promote additional volunteerism and membership for WNYMBA.

The Day Trekker IPA is a 4.9% sessionable IPA brewed with cascade, cashmere, and aurora hops and the ideal beer for a day of hiking, biking, fly fishing, disc golfing, or paddling the streams of Western New York. Day Trekker will be available on tap and in cans and will be available at Consumer’s Beverage, Wegman’s, and other select retailers in the region for your crew to pick up a few 4/packs on the way out to the woods.

Our love of the outdoors here at 42 North isn’t just talk. We’ll be at WNYMBA sanctioned trail days helping the team improve the trails and rehabilitate the awesome parks that we use each summer (and winter if you ride fat bikes, of course!) WNYMBA actively hosts trail maintenance days every spring.  In addition to their work at Hunter’s Creek, the Darien Lake State Park trails, and Sprague Brook Park, WNYMBA is undertaking an aggressive project to construct the Stone Tower Trail in Alleghany State Park.

Stay tuned for trail day updates, giveaways and we hope to see you out on the trails… with a Day Trekker!
